Who can be a Beaver, Cub, Scout or Explorer?

Everyone can! Scouting is open to all young people aged 4 to 25 of every faith and background. Ideally you live in the Earlswood/ St John’s area as we like to encourage walking or cycling to meetings, but there is scope beyond this, so do reach out.

There are also plenty of opportunities for adults to become involved as a Helper, Assistant, Leader or part of the Group Executive. Want to help? Please contact us.

Our activities and programme is based around three main themes – The World, Learning Skills, and the Outdoors & Adventure. If you think Scouting is just about knots, woggles, and campfires, then be prepared to be surprised. It’s how Barack Obama, Bear Grylls and David Beckham got their start in life and you can have this start too.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
